Pleasant Dreams Beach House: directions, flight info, and more

The Pleasant Dreams Beach House is located on Pleasant Harbor (also known as Evan's Bay), approximately 3 miles northwest of Nicholstown on North Andros, about a mile from Morgan's Bluff Marina, and about 15 minutes from San Andros Airport.

Air Travel To Andros via Nassua.

To Arrive Get a flight to Nassau, Bahamas, flights should arrive before 2:00-3:00pm (no lights on the runway in San Andros), then fly with Glen Pratt (a private pilot on San Andros 242-357-2440cell $60each way per person-but call for current pricing) or take the Western Air (1-242-329-4000) flight into San Andros. It leaves Nassau at 4:30pm but you need to check in 1 hour prior to departure. To Leave Coordinate and fly out with Glen Pratt-(let him know when) or Catch the Western Air flight at 7:00am out of San Andros Airport into Nassau to connect with your flight out of Nassau. You should be at the San Andros airport 20 minutes prior to departure time for Glen or 1 hour prior to departure for Western Air. Your departure time home from Nassau should not be before 9:30 Am, as you need time to go through customs (1-2 hours). It is best not to have a departure time too late from Nassau, as it can get really long sitting in the Nassau airport waiting for a flight!

Another option that we frequently do is to fly into Nassau and get a room at the Comfort Suites in Paradise Island. You can enjoy a night and day of tourism, casino, shopping, and beautiful aquariums at it’s sister hotel (next door) Atlantis (or you can stay directly at Atlantis for a much higher cost). Then you catch the afternoon flight on Western Air the next day to San Andros Airport. You can store your luggage at the hotel after checkout and still enjoy the resort until about 2:00 when you need to take a taxi to the Nassau Airport (You can also do the same thing, only reversed on the way home).
