SNORKELING & SPEARFISHING - Have a local take you snorkeling and/or spearfishing on some of the local reefs. If your lucky you may learn how to find and spear a lobster, find a live conch for dinner, or grab onto a turtle for a ride. you'll need to bring your own snorkel and spearfishing gear (only Hawaiian slings allowed in Bahamas).

BONEFISHING & TARPUM FISHING - Hire a local Bahamian bonefishing guide for the full day. Usuallly includes bonefishing boat.

DEEP SEA SPORT FISHING - Hire a local fisherman and fish the depths of the ocean near Andros for Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Dolphin, and other large game fish.

SEA KAYAKING & WIND SURFING - We provide 2 kayaks with the house. There is also a windsurfer there you can use for a fee if you already have knowledge of windsurfing (the board does not handle large riders)

BEACHCOMBING & RELAXING IN THE HAMMOCK - Walk the miles of beaches for shells, sandollars, sea urchins and other treasures, bring a good book for reading in the hammock while relaxing in the ocean breeze.

BIRD WATCHING - There are more than 300 species of birds found in the Bahamas. One hundred and nine species breed in the Bahamas, 169 species migrate or winter here, and 45 species are vagrants.

ISLAND TOURS - There are several different things that you can do -go to Red Bays to shop for Androsia Baskets and wood carvings that they create there, and see the sea sponging operation, Tour the island: Blue Hole Tour, explore beaches: visit the Androsia Batik Factory-hand made fabric and clothing made by locals who carve sea sponge into different sea shapes, dip it in hot wax, stamp and dye fabric to create beautiful batik: & meet locals that bake bread and goodies out of their homes).
